Eating Out: Food vs Service

So listen…

I was really letdown at a restaurant last week and it got me thinking... Why do I even bother eating out when I can whip up something way better at home? I was looking fwd to try this new spot that came recommended. But, when the food hit my taste buds, I was like, "That's NOT good Shawty!"

The chicken was overcooked, the pasta was dry, and the flavors were just off. I was seriously disappointed y'all. It made me realize that nothing beats my own cooking.

I take pride in using fresh ingredients, adjusting the seasoning just right, and making sure every bite is better than the last. Plus, I can customize it to my own liking – extra spicy, loads of cheese, you name it. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for trying new restaurants and supporting local businesses. But when it comes to grub, I'm sticking to my kitchen. I've got my trusty apron, my favorite music, and my family recipes are on point. It's like my own personal cooking show, it's where I'm the happiest.

So my question of for y'all is… Should I pick a city and open up my own restaurant? or host intimate pop-up dinners from the city to city, where I can personally share my food with you? Please let your Unc' know in the comments.

  • Please come to Chicago

  • Please host city to city. I live in Delaware and people here need to know what real southern food should taste.

  • Pop-ups will be more lucrative, reach more people and build your base, for when or if you decide to open a venue.

  • Open a restaurant in Metro Atlanta. If the restaurant is anything like the seasonings, it will be a huge success.
